Gymnastics/tumbling classes: Students should wear a leotard (preferred) or a shirt with shorts, leggings, or sweats. All shirts must be tucked in, and midriffs must be covered. No footwear or jewelry (stud earrings are the only exception). Hair should be tied up in a tight ponytail or braid.
Obstacle Training/Ninja Warrior classes: Students should wear a shirt, and comfortable shorts or sweats. Sneakers should be tied with laces and be clean (even better if the sneakers are used only for Obstacle classes), No jewelry (stud earrings are the only exception). Hair should be tied up in a ponytail or braid.
Are trial classes available?
Yes, $10 trial classes are available for gymnastics/tumbling and obstacle training. Please call the gym to make your appointment.
What happens if I need to make up a missed class? Two make-up classes are allotted per student, per Session.(per class if student is taking multiple classes) Make-up classes must be scheduled through the front desk in advance.
Do you offer classes in the summer? Since our facility is fully air-conditioned and heated, we offer classes year-round. Our Sessions run as follows:
Winter: January through mid-March
Spring: mid-March through late June
Summer: late June through late August
Fall: late August through late December
Do you follow a specific school year schedule? No, we do not follow any school schedules, and therefore may not observe the same days off.
FACILITIES, POLICIES, & FEES
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and check (a $30 fee will result in the case of a returned check) Cash checks and debit cards with a pin already include the cash discount. Credit cards and debit cards without a pin will be charged 3.5%.
What if my child is sick?
If anyone in your family is sick, please call us and do not bring your child to class. Child must be fever-free (without medication) for 48 hours before returning to the gym.
What is the Annual Registration Fee?
$30 (annual membership starts from the day of sign-up). If two or more children in the family are registered, the annual fee is a total of $40.
Are parents allowed in the building?
Yes, we allow up to 12 adults in the observation area. One parent of Mighty Bears students is required to be in the building during class. Due to our small observation area only 1 parent per student will be allowed in the observation area, no siblings.
What happens in the case of inclement weather?
If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, we will post an update on our website, Facebook pages, phone answering machine, and will send an email. Weather decisions are made by 2:30 pm for weekday classes, and by 8:00 am for Saturday morning classes.
